Meet Alison

Alison Grace, registered massage therapy, Stratford Ontario, womens health, pregnancy massage,

I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2009 and have spent the majority of my time since living and working in Vancouver. I have built a practice that is focused on women’s wellness and pediatric care. In 2017 I trained with Carriage House Birth and have also been supporting births as a doula. I love my work as both an RMT and birth doula, and it is a great honour to be alongside the journey of clients navigating transitions in their bodies and lives. I moved back to Ontario in 2020 and am a member in good standing of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

My interest in massage therapy originally came about from studying dance; I had experienced the benefits of physiotherapy and massage when dealing with injuries as a young dancer. My movement training has taken different shapes over the years and has a strong influence on how I assess and treat the body. I studied movement analysis at the Laban Institute in New York and am also a certified vinyasa and restorative yoga teacher. Somatic practices are my roots and I always view movement from the lenses of both art and science.

My aim is always to provide compassionate care and to help people feel more empowered in their bodies and find freedom of movement in their daily lives.
