Registered Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is the assessment and treatment of soft tissues and joints of the body. I use traditional Swedish massage techniques during treatment and also draw on craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation.

Prenatal Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is safe at all stages of a normal healthy pregnancy. Childbearing comes with specific physical challenges, many of which can be relieved through manual therapeutic techniques. Common conditions that can be treated include low back pain, sacroiliac pain, round ligament pain, insomnia, carpal tunnel syndrome, muscle aches, and general relaxation.

Pediatric Massage Therapy

Pediatric massage can look different than adult massage; children often move around, fidget, and may talk more. This is completely normal! Children are at a different emotional and developmental stage than adults and treatment is modified to reflect that. Sessions often include a focus on breathing techniques and other tools they can use to support relaxation at home and in school. Pediatric massage benefits include reduced stress, improved sleep habits, reduced musculoskeletal pain, improved body awareness, and new neural pathway growth.
